Sam represented the U14 Southern Sharks at the Junior State Hockey Championships over the school holidays. The team finished fourth overall, narrowly missing out on a bronze medal in a thrilling final game.

In preparation, Sam worked closely with K2 Health Director, Krystal Weir, focusing on key areas of development during his growth phase of adolescence, including:

  • Running mechanics and spinal alignment

  • Control and deceleration during the plant phase of running

  • Strength development through hamstrings and adductors

  • Anti-rotational core exercises

  • Balance drills and toe-off mechanics to improve balance and proprioception

Fantastic effort, Sam — both in your preparation and your performance on the field!
